About

Elemental jewellery capturing the essence of the unseen and unknowable. The cries of birds hidden in a dew drop. The curiosity of a foal preserved forever in the rings of an oak.

Each piece has a tale to tell ~ if you can hear that story, perhaps it was told to you alone.

Contemporary fine art jewellery handmade on Lkwungen Territory off the West Coast of Turtle Island, also known as Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, by Patricia Tozer.

Ethos

We believe that everyone has a responsibility to the planet. The jewellery industry as a whole has numerous problems, some of which can be mitigated by the individual.  This is why our packaging utilizes recycled and recyclable materials.  While our recycled jewellery boxes are nice, we will be using them sparingly in preference of made-in-house wool pouches that are easy to store, protect your precious belongings, and are fully biodegradable.  We already buy recycled sterling silver, and recycle all of our scrap, too.  The joy of working with this medium gives us more impetus to be mindful.  If you have any questions, please get in touch.

I would like to acknowledge that I live and operate my business upon sacred land.  I acknowledge and thank the Lkwungen People, also known as the Songhees,  Esquimalt, and Beecher Bay First Nations communities, for allowing me to live, work and play on their lands. I also give thanks to the ancestors, supernatural ones, hereditary leaders and matriarchs, creatures big and small for looking after the rich resources and cultural teachings of this beautiful place.  I am grateful for the enduring presence of indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island on this land.
